Upcoming Courses at St Mary’s

18th January, 2027

Functional Cupping

This 1 day course combines contemporary research, current theories on mechanisms of effect, pain and neuroscience with clinical reasoning to produce the most up-to-date and comprehensive approach to Cupping Therapy.

The concepts that underpin the Functional Cupping method were originally developed by ACE’s founder, Shaun Brewster over a decade ago.

This dynamic and patient centred approach to treatment is highly individualised to the patient’s presentation, with their functional deficit at the forefront in treatment design.

No previous experience in cupping is required to attend the course.

16th- 17th January, 2027

Joint Therapeutics

This 2-day course will provide you with a practical and clinically relevant approach to treating joint related pain and movement limitation.

The course includes passive and active joint mobilisation techniques for the whole body, with a focus on helping you make clinically reasoned decisions about their use. Learn how to identify joint related dysfunction and how to apply the right technique to get immediate results.

This course integrates current evidence on joint mobilisation principles and their mechanisms of effect, with a focus on reducing pain and improving outcomes for your patients.

22nd – 24th January, 2027

Dry Needling

The ACE 3-day Dry Needling Course is the most comprehensive dry needling program available in Australia and New Zealand. This course consists of comprehensive pre-course learning material combined with 24 hours of practical dry needling training over 3 days, with lifetime access to post-course video material that covers all techniques taught during the practical training.

This course equips you with everything you need to start practicing confidently on clients immediately. The program is evidence-informed, and offers a contemporary approach to dry needling that integrates scientific literature with practical application and sound clinical reasoning.
