In this interactive, practical Anatomy Wet Lab Session, participants will get first hand exposure to a range of cadaveric specimens to help build and strengthen their understanding of the structural and functional anatomy of the human body.
This session will explore in depth, a number of real human dissections. The group will be led by a tutor from the University and a member of the Advanced Clinical Education team.
Participants can expect to improve their working knowledge of tissue layers, anatomical location and orientation, all with a focus on clinical application and relevance.

WEBINAR TOMORROW NIGHT!![]()
Pain through a predictive processing lens with Dr Mervyn Travers.![]()
This presentation takes a fresh look at pain through the lens of predictive processing. Predictive processing flips our understanding of how the nervous systems operates and provides a potential explanatory framework to guide clinical practice.![]()
Central to this perspective is considering pain as a deeply personal, conscious experience. This means pain doesn’t live in the tissues, nor is it an output of the brain. Rather, pain sits somewhere in between, emerging from the delicate dance between sensory information and your predictions.![]()
If you cannot attend live, you will be sent a link to the recording the following day. You will be able to download the recording to your personal device.![]()
