Steph Kanaris

Steph is a Myotherapist who is passionate about educating current industry professionals and aspiring therapists of tomorrow. Steph is also a qualified Trainer & Assessor.

Steph spent 11 years of her professional career working across 2 AFL clubs, where she cemented her industry knowledge, skills and expertise working within the demands of an elite sporting environment.

As a young Myotherapist, Steph had the mentality of just wanting to ‘treat and treat and treat’. Once she matured as a therapist, she developed a passion and interest in teaching and mentoring other staff members, new graduates and students within her team.

Steph put the wheels in motion to allow herself to enter the education space, completing her training and assessment qualifications and has since delivered programs such as Dry Needling and full delivery across the Diploma of Remedial Massage at Endeavour College.

Steph has also shared her time across private practice, where her clientele and focus has been in the areas of women’s health, pregnancy and postpartum.

Outside of this, Steph lives on the Gold Coast in Queensland and loves spending time at the beach with her partner, her daughter and their big fluffy (mischievous) groodle.

The enjoyment I get watching that lightbulb moment occur with those under my guidance is truly one of the most rewarding aspects of wanting to become an educator. I love helping to shape the industry we love and the therapists who we assist along the way!
